Below is the corrected Commander's corner which did not get printed correctly in the Newsletter.

Greetings Legion family!

This is my last communication as your Commander-2 years have flown by but we have accomplished a lot. I would like to thank everyone for your support and assistance, you are a wonderful group of people. Special thank you to Linda Cardot, John Onderdonk and Sharon Beeke. Linda-for helping so much, took the position of Commander shortly after transferring to Chili and had a lot to learn! John And Sharon-it was a pleasure to serve with you. And to Miguel, my first gentleman, for your undying support, it means the world to me. Best of luck to the SAL for their upcoming Sportsman’s raffle May 10th-sold out! If you can assist by volunteering that day please sign up, they would greatly appreciate all our help. Our Memorial Day parade is BACK! We will line up in the parking lot across the street from the Chili Community Center by Rev it Up Grill at 8am and the parade starts at 8:30 am, following the road into the Center to the Veteran’s Memorial. Service will start right after the parade. Our service at the Post Home will start at 11am followed by our picnic at 1pm until 5pm. WE could use your assistance with this event as well-Connie and Todd Corwin, thank you for all your hard work with the service and picnic. Look for information coming soon from Todd Corwin about flagging the cemeteries. I will not be going away, I have put my name in to be Adjutant (which is where I started here) and we will be very busy soon with our committee to elect Tom Schreck as Department Commander-look for information soon!  It has been an honor and my pleasure to serve you as your

Commander.

Remember to BE THE ONE!

For God and Country,

Commander Vicki
